This one day tour includes two most fascinating palaces belonging to Pahlavi dynasty. These palaces are located in North of Tehran, the affluent part of city, at the foot of Alborz Mountains. It is here that we learn about the fate of last Shahs of Iran and the rise of Islamic Republic when everything changed for Iran and Iranians.
In this short trip, we visit Niavaran and Sa’adabad Palaces where Iran’s last Shahs (monarchs) and their household used to live. Sa’adabad Palace is a complex consisting of 20 mansions (now used as museums) dispersed inside a vast garden at the foot of Darband Mountain. Niavaran Palace built during Qajar and Pahlavi eras is a smaller palace housing monuments where royal belongings and artistic works are on display.
